Work in the Janus series is comprised of fabric pieces, embroidery, trapunto and selected "costumes" that have been altered and painted. Each piece (Janus I, Janus II, Janus III and Janus IV) depicts a different stage of passage through life as well as referencing the forces of fire, water, earth and air. Artwork in the "Days On End" series is comprised of fantasy thread "drawings" hand stitched onto vintage handkerchiefs. The majority of these pieces have been sewn onto one large linen wall hanging printed with an original fabric design.
