NEWS:My painting, "The Feast" is included in a national exhibition at the Stedman Gallery, Rutgers University, Camden, "Seeing Voices: the Visual Voice", March 15-April 21, 2010. I will be attending the accompanying symposium, April 9 - 10, 2010 to speak about the development of my work.
I am included in a group exhibition at Vanderbilt University, "The Painter's Eye", March 2010 and will be giving an artist lecture/studio crits on March 30, 2010.
Two upcoming exhibitions are: a small group exhibition at the Ewing Gallery, University of Tennessee, "Knoxville and Vicinity", August, 2010, curated by Sam Yates and a solo exhibition, "Alchemical Narratives" at the University Gallery, Valdosta State University, Georgia, September--October, 2010.
Also in August, 2010, I will be installing a site specific painting, "Lauren Flying Solo", an 8' x 15' polyptch, for the "Flying Solo" exhibition series at the Nashville International Airport. The work will be shown from August, 2010 -- February, 2011.

My "Seven Deadly Sins" painting, 2009, 72" x 96", was featured in the "New American Paintings" 30th anniversary edition, February, 2010.
My solo exhibition, "Eide/Eidola" will open at the Flood Gallery Fine Arts Center on Friday, November 13 and continue until December 15. The reception will take place from 7 - 10 pm. Please see the following link for more information, a press release and images.

Flood GalleryMy painting, "Three Graces of New Orleans" (shown on the home page) was shown in the Regional Juried Exhibition, Dogwood Arts Festival, Knoxville, TN, during April, 2009.
My painting, "Gilgamesh" was shown in the NC Artists Exhibition, juried by Dr. Kimerly Rorschach, Director of the Nasher Museum of Art, Duke University. The exhibition will be on view from March 1-May 3, 2009 at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts, Raleigh, NC.
